Raw dust
Ravaging land
With stinging breath of earth
Tell me this world wasn’t always…
Desert.

  1. hahahahahah….I luuuuvvvvv this one. Short and simple always says so much more than anything.

  2. As I am, that is funny! I’m an unabashed admirer of ambiguity. I love its amorphous nature, and the fact that multiple meanings can be attributed to that particular structure of words. You are right. It might as well describe life! The inner landscape eroded by the suffering of the external. I’ve added the tag. đŸ™‚

Loubird, I want to someday write a novel in just 100 words…

  3. I am also a fan of ambiguity in words especially in poetry. That’s one aspect of poetry that makes poetry a lot more interesting… because it gives me a room for my own interpretation. When something is too obvious it loses its appeal, at least to me.

  4. That’s one aspect of poetry that makes poetry a lot more interesting… – opps typo…i think you know what i mean. đŸ™‚ My finger is faster than my brain sometimes. đŸ™‚
